Red Seed Studio started as a small seed of an idea - to use only organic, sustainable & upcycled materials to create beautiful, functional & thoughtfully designed items for the home, body & creative spaces.

The design collaboration of Ellie Beck & Sam Messina, we enjoy self-producing a highly crafted & continuously evolving range that is designed to slip beautifully into your life, while creating minimal environmental impact.

Our collections show influences from our landscapes - modern / ancient / natural / built / paper / fabric / water / earth / texture / sound / thought / feel - as well as inspiration from Japanese culture (both modern & traditional), ancient textiles & art, & an upbringing amongst creative & artistic families (potters, photographers, architects, writers, gardeners, makers, creaters & dreamers).

We met thirteen years ago, & have always worked towards launching our own design & handcrafted range of artwork, clothing, homewares, textiles & accessories. We aim to live lightly on our planet; this naturally flows across to our products & manufacturing processes.

We have two beautiful young children, who are a constant source of inspiration, ideas, advice & laughter. We live in a beautiful forest in Northern NSW, Australia, where we are building our dream home & studio.
